GRETSCH® BRINGS 130TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT TO KEMPTVILLE
WHAT: Gretsch musical instruments is proud to celebrate 130 years of excellence with an exclusive in-store gathering at Class Axe Music in Kemptville, Ontario.
Gretsch president Fred Gretsch and CFO Dinah Gretsch will host a multimedia musical journey that begins in 1883, when 27-year-old German immigrant and company founder Friedrich Gretsch made the company’s very first instruments in Brooklyn, N.Y. Follow the company’s history to the 1930s - when the first Gretsch guitars appeared- right up to today, and see and hear the musicians who wove Gretsch guitars into the fabric of modern pop music and culture.
Prize giveaways, including a Gretsch G5420T Electromatic® guitar, and a performance by Keith Glass of the Prairie Oyster trio, will take place.
